Researching no Sugar diets

Sugar is in everything. Most processed foods have sugar added. Even savory foods are filled with sugar. Sugar is cheap and it adds a ton of flavor.
- Is this a temporary challenge that sounds fun or something I could see myself continuing after 30 days?
- What about eating out? It seems like you can’t even have most dressings. Would I have to order a salad with olive oil and vinegar? I could probably have a steak though… mmm :)
- What about my kids? I don’t want them to have to stick 100% with this but I also don’t want to cook 2 meals.
- Is sugar all that bad for my body. If I eat whole foods isn’t that enough?
